In a major expansion, WhatsApp has rolled out its highly anticipated WhatsApp Channels feature to over 200 countries including Nigeria.
According to Meta, WhatsApp Channels provides a discreet avenue for users to receive updates from a diverse range of organizations, sports teams, artists, and thought leaders, all within the WhatsApp platform.
Unlike regular WhatsApp chats and communities, WhatsApp Channels currently does not allow regular users to create their channels.
However, prominent figures like BellaNaija, Nedu Wazobia, MC Lively, and even Mark Zuckerberg have all received complimentary channels.
If you haven’t seen the update on your app yet, kindly update your WhatsApp application and wait for the update to show. As at the time of putting this article, mine just appeared. You can check ✅ below 👇.
